Good Morning Gals!

Every fashionista dreams of the day she will attend fashion’s biggest night of the year, The Costume Institute Gala held at the New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, excessively referred to as “fashion’s Oscars.” The red caret was ripe with fancy frocks by some of the world’s most talented designers. The night is a huge deal with Hollywood Stars, Socialites and our favorite designers all in one place, looking absolutely fabulous!

Anna Wintour, Miuccia Prada and Carey Mulligan welcomed the most glamorous stars on Earth at the Costume Institute’s annual ball. This year, fashion’s finest are celebrated Prada as well as Elsa Schiaparelli, who together comprise the Costume Institute’s new exhibition, “Impossible Conversations.”

Of course there were looks we loved and those we loved, not-so much! So here are some of our faves from the red carpet!

Coco Rocha in vintage Givenchy

Canadian fashion model Coco Rocha was darling in the late Elizabeth Taylor’s vintage Givenchy suit! She looked too cute and stood out from the pack in this bright yellow pants suit with a bright pink bodice. And of course who doesn’t love the hot pink extensions! We love a gal who dares to be daring! Her face was simple with a bold black lash and understated pink lips. Miss Coco, we love!

Solange Knowles in Rachel Roy

Everyone’s been talking about lady Bey’s appearance in her peek-a-boo Givenchy gown, but I want to give her little sis Solange some shine! Look at Solange in this beautiful bright yellow Zac Posen gown. If you ask me it seems as though she’d channeling a little Diana Ross with her feminine natural look.

Solange Knowles

And her curly coif the only natural look she donned for the evening. Her well executed barely there makeup was impeccable. A light sheer eyeshadow above bold black lashes with a classic nude lip, well done miss Ross. . .um I mean Knowles! lol.

Emma Stone in Lanvin

Emma Stone is always a cutie pie, especially in this fun red frock by Lanvin! She looks so dainty, don’t you agree? She topped off her look with a messy up-do and a subtle face featuring a coral lip, bold lash line and soft pink cheeks.

Lala Anthony in Zac Posen

We love Lala! Always the gorgeous femme, tonight was no different. With her handsome hubby on her arm, Lala wowed us in a simple, yet beautiful, royal blue Zac Posen gown. Her hair and make-up were immaculate with a classic look that needs no explanation!

Kate Bosworth in Prada

Finally we present Kate Bosworth in this wonderful Prada feathered frock! With her hair pulled up in a tightly wound love knot, and a bold burgundy lip, Miss Bosworth was the poster child for effortless drama!
